Met a lovely artist today. Her work is beautiful, full of light and warmth. Jacqueline Hammond is exhibiting at the Three Storeys in Nailsworth until tomorrow afternoon and it’s defo worth a visit! a nice sunday walk …with coffee and cake whilst viewing beautiful artwork ! what more can you ask for!

I designed this piece with ceramic pencil drawings of poppyseed-heads and small daisies, set in a meadow. It is quite mimamilistic but very affective.

This porcelain piece was hand designed and hand casted for a lady that had a particular color set in mind. I was pleased with the outcome as the level of translucency was excellent.

This lamp was designed for a admirer of poppy flowers. The casting went well, allowing the light to shine through its porcelain walls…

I’m really pleased at how this large porcelian lamp has turned out! poured to 4mm thick, 55cm high. I added glass onto the petals, to melt and 22ct gold luster as a ribbon around its centre..

Its over a year now since our famous friend Alfie died. I have preserved his memory within my artwork in the form of story telling through porcelian. Alfie his mate the shire horses around the memorial in Minchinhampton square. This lamp is 30cm h x 30cm w. It is an etching onto porcelian using colored ink.
